In 1994, Regent established its first branch. Regent-Kiev became a corner stone of the branch network, whose rapid development began in 1997. Such a network included 11 branches at the end of 2000, and is further developing to this day. "At first Regent Group, in its regional policy, placed emphasis on the contacts with large printing plants of Russian regions that were able to buy paper in Moscow, and on the contacts with wholesalers of paper and office supplies," Svetlana Merzljakova, Head of the Department for Regional Sales and Wholesales, says. "However in 1997 we became active in the formation of a regional network of branches. Eleven newly established branches in the centers of economically promising regions have brought us closer to our clients. Today we are able to offer the complete range of printing materials and office supplies from the branch`s stock, can quickly respond to changes in the local market situation, and can offer a broader range of services." Regent Group plans to create the developed regional network of 23 branches by the end of year 2002.
